The first cats and dogs of Florence-Lauderdale Animal Services Calendar, “Pet Photo Contest” is now underway! Take this chance to showcase your favorite animal companion while supporting those animals at our shelter waiting for a loving and caring home of their own. Each year, starting now, Friends of Florence-Lauderdale Animal Services will produce a full color calendar which allows adopters the chance to have their shelter pet featured as a monthly cover pet or one of the “top models” on the calendar’s cover.

2020 calendar photo contest rules:

Cat and Dogs adopted from FLAS are welcome! There is a $5 donation/entry fee requirement to submit photos.

1. Pictures must be of good quality, horizontally orientated, high res jpeg, jpg, gif or png and no larger than 4MB. Submit before 11:59pm December 22, 2019.
2. Pictures must be appropriate and of good taste, Animals only and neat or nature backgrounds are preferred.
3. Submit your $5 donation/entry fee to (PayPal: skshelter & Venmo: skshelter) prior to submitting your photo! You must include your full name and dogs name with both the entry and donation.

Also please understand that photos that don’t meet the above rules will be excluded from the drawing. Winners will be announced at 12pm December 25th (Christmas Day) at https://www.facebook.com/florencelauderdaleanimalservices/.
